I'yard playing my survival world, but I need a more efficient manner to get nutrient and feathers. I want to know if there'south a manner to brand certain animals spawn. I take a large apartment expanse with no grass/tall grass because I needed seeds and a clear infinite, if that affects anything.

Breed the ones you want would be a outset. Keep them penned upwardly and their numbers to a higher place the max passive animal number so no other random passive animals spawn. And then brood,
slaughterharvest, rinse, repeat.Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Make leads and explore along the shore, the easiest and fastest way to go them back to your base is by towing them behind a boat.
If you really want to spawn new animals yous demand to kill all other animals in the loaded chunks since the mob cap for friendly mobs is just 10.
And then y'all desire a big flat "lawn" of grass blocks, you don't need tall grass merely I think it doesn't matter if you lot have.
Information technology doesn't actually accept to exist all that big a lawn, I've tested on a all bedrock superflat globe with a 10X10 backyard and only had to wait x minutes or so until animals started to spawn.

Just testing.

Exploring and finding cows is really your best option, unless you want to slaughter all other animals to try and get a random spawn.

I tried information technology with terrible results. I gave my wife my spectacles for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is meaning.
Stupid 3D..

The passive mob cap is x for all loaded chunks (vertically, chunks get from bedrock to the build elevation limit so there's no way to merely pillar upwardly out of range), which includes everything around the player in a ?10? square (I think it might exist 10x10, only I don't know for sure) PLUS whatever office of the spawn chunks not already included in the actor-surrounding part. 10% of all generated chunks generate with passive mobs, then more than likely even just spawning into a newly-created world means yous're already well past the mobcap of 10.
To go more than mobs, yous're going to take to kill lots and lots and LOTS of passives and you will probably have to figure out a way to practise so in a way that does non generate more chunks (the /impale or /tp commands are bully for this). The alternative is to terraform the crap out of the loaded part of the world to reduce/eliminate the grass blocks passive mobs are required to spawn on (light level 8 or higher, on grass). You tin supersede the grass with fibroid dirt, or do something totally wacky like using glass/stained drinking glass, or y'all can just flood everything with water/lava.
